Host Conditions
To have a relaxed and rewarding experience as a host, HSA – Homestay Access will give you excellent training as well as provide all the resources including handbooks which will outline the information you need to host your first student successfully.
We believe in long-term strategic partnerships with the host families which is built on trust and driven by core values. That is why we recognise them as a critical component of our business, and we go the extra mile to make them understand their roles and responsibilities as members of HSA – Homestay Access.
Our hosts must agree to our Homestay Standards before joining us. These standards outline what hosts are obliged to offer to the international students when accepting to be a part of our network.
All hosts over the age of 18 residing at the house must attain a valid Working with Children Check in order to be eligible, and they must attain to all room requirements and obligations including insurance.

HSA – Homestay Access is a provider of residential services to children and young people. HSA – Homestay Access takes seriously any report of inappropriate behaviour against children and young people placed in your care and are obligated to report any inappropriate incidents.
Some of the consequences of inappropriateness against your guests include:
The removal of a guest from a host with little or no notice.
Forfeiture of any amounts paid in advance of up to 1 month for accommodation.
A report being lodged with the appropriate authorities.
To ensure compliance with current legislation every host is required to sign the Homestay Standards before a student will be assigned or sent to your location.
